FABIOLA

FABIOLA

Lolium perenne

Perennial ryegrass

Fabiola is like a power bar

High yield, high protein

Fabiola is very high yielding variety with the focus on the first cut. The German figure of a 108 relative for the first cut yield is a strong indicator. There is also evidence that Fabiola shows a higher protein yield compared to standards as its score in Austrian trials showed a 6% higher protein yield.

Typical nice and dense like a diploid variety

All other agronomic performances are on a high level. Highlight is a very low weed invasion, which helps to keep weeds out of the sward and reduces the weed control task. A good ground cover is probably a character someone would expect from a diploid variety and Fabiola is showing it.

  • Strong yielding variety especially in the first cut
  • Good persistency
  • Improved ground cover
  • To deduce from the good groundcover low weed infestation
