TETRAGRAZE

TETRAGRAZE

Lolium x boucheanum

Hybrid ryegrass

Dense and very healthy

A hybrid with perennial properties
Tetragraze is a tetraploid variety of hybrid ryegrass with excellent ground cover and very high persistency. In fact it looks like a perennial ryegrass in many aspects, but still keeping the hybrid´s early spring growth and fast regrowth.

High yield
The forage yield of Tetragraze is high - especially in the 3rd harvest year. This makes the variety well suited for medium-long term mixtures used for one or two cuts and grazing afterwards.

Very healthy
The resistance to crown rust and mildew is well above average - this of course adds to the good grazing properties of Tetragraze.

The best ground cover
On the BSPB recommended list for England & Wales, Tetragraze has the top rating for 3rd year ground cover of the hybrids listed - the persistency is on top.

  • Very persistent hybrid ryegrass with intermediate heading
  • Best ground cover
  • Excellent disease resistance
  • A true grazing type of hybrid ryegrass
