The heading of OXFORD is late, which provides good forage quality for a long period before heading starts. Therefore OXFORD offers high flexibility for forage use.

Advantageous Growth Height
The growth height is medium. The growth of OXFORD enables it to compete sufficiently with tall growing grass in mixtures.

Lodging no Problem
OXFORD performs a good resistance to lodging which ensures that cuts can be taken without soil pollution.

Perfect Density
The density of OXFORD is intermediate which is ideal for a Poa pratensis variety when used in mixtures with other grasses, e.g. for grazing purposes.

Good Resistance
The winter hardiness is good and OXFORD has proved a very good resistance to crown rust and a good resistance to other common diseases in grasses.

The yield of green- and dry matter of OXFORD is high compared with other forage grass types.
