Performance and growth
JULIUS is fast to establish, very fine leaved and very dense gives a soft look and texture. But do not be fooled by the soft look, Julius tolerates hard wear and is able to recover well by growing rhizomes to establish new plants that cover nearby damaged areas. 
Smooth stalked meadow grass has a good drought tolerance and is very winter hardy. 

Widespread uses
Ideal for traffic and play in parks and home lawn, used for recreation and landscape purposes. Often used in mix for high wear turf and pro sport arenas. 
JULIUS has proven to be a stable well performing variety, successful in a broad palette of uses.

Practical  
Sow in a well-drained bed. For optimal long term performance in clay loam soils in cool temperate areas, use JULIUS is a mix with Perennial rye grass. In warm dry climate consider a tall fescue mixing partner.  

Colour 
JULIUS has a medium green color with early spring green up.
