GREENTIME is always good looking on greens, tees and fairways. In the UK, close mowing green trials it is good in winter greenness and outstanding in summer greenness. In the US NTEP fairway/tee trials, GREENTIME was the top variety in the Nort Central Region, and one of the top varieties in the north-east and Transition areas.

Seedling vigour under low maintenance conditions is excellent. The leaf texture was the finest of the Browntop varieties tested in the US. Spring density and percent living ground cover in spring were highest of all varieties. Mowing quality is top: the uniformity and cleanness of cut (no steminess) was again the best of all tested varieties.

Drought resistant
In 2005 and 2006 UK field trials GREENTIME showed excellent performance on drought resistance. It outcompeted all other 18 browntop bent entries in the test.
